How borrowing works

1. Join and reserve

Browse the Things online and make a reservation to borrow.

2. Collect in-store

Collect your item from the lockers inside Patch Twickenham. Use our guides and support if you need a hand at home.

3. Return it

Return your item back to the store, ready for another neighbour to use.

You can reserve all items online before collecting and returning from the library.

The nearest car park is York House Pay & Display Car park on Hall Road (2 mins walk from Patch). 

Trains
The nearest national rail station is Twickenham (5 minute walk).
Bus
There are bus stops right outside Patch for bus routes 33, 290, 490, R68, R78.

Monday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Tuesday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Wednesday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Thursday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Saturday: 9am to 3pm

Sunday: Closed

*Please note that Patch Twickenham has introduced self-service access on Saturdays. We’ve obtained an access code for our borrowers, which you'll find in your booking confirmation email.

We've joined forces with Richmond Council to bring borrowing to the area so everyone can access the items they need to maintain their homes affordably.
