How it works
Choose your gift voucher amount & order.
We suggest around £10-£25 for a weekend rental, £50-£100 for big home projects or longer rental time.
We create a voucher and send it to you
Our paperless gift vouchers are created by our team and delivered to your inbox within 2 to 3 working days, for you to forward to the recipient.
Send the voucher to your recipient
When the time is right, you forward the email gift voucher to your lucky recipient on the date of your choosing.
Your recipient redeems their voucher online
Your recipient can redeem their voucher online against any ‘thing’ on our website. They just enter the code from the voucher email at checkout.
Your recipient reserves and hires their item(s)
Gift vouchers expire 12 months from the date of issue and can be used for multiple bookings until the balance is used up.
*The voucher amount doesn’t include our membership fee (from £2.50/£1.50 concession).

Library of Things Gift Voucher Terms and conditions
Please allow 2-3 working days for your gift voucher to be prepared.
Gift vouchers are unique to the voucher recipient only and non-transferable.
Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with another discount code, however any membership discounts will still apply.
Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
If reservations made using a gift voucher are cancelled by the borrower, we cannot guarantee that the gift voucher will be reapplied.
If reservations made using a gift voucher are cancelled by Library of Things or an issue arises with the borrow, we will honour the gift voucher using borrowing credit applied to the recipient’s account.
