1. Join and reserve

Browse the Things online, choose your dates and make a reservation. Add the discount code from your email at the check out.

2. Collect in-store

Collect your item from the lockers inside the Sutton Library. Use our online guides if you need a hand at home.

How to find us

3. Return it

Once you're finished, return your item, ready for another neighbour to use.

You can find our lockers inside Sutton Central Library, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA

You can reserve all items online before collecting and returning from the library.

How to reach us

Car Parking

There is 20 minutes free parking available at the Civic Offices car park, off Gibson Road, after 6pm.

 Contact [email protected] with your booking reference, car registration and anticipated collection time to arrange access with at least two working days notice. 

Alternatively, you can find a multistorey car park on Gibson road, which is a 5 minute walk to the library (Costs £3 for 2 hours). 

St Nicolas Shopping centre also has a multi storey car park (Costs £3 for 2 hours), this is on St Nicolas Way and is a 8 minute walk to the Library.

Trains
Sutton Civic Centre (Library) is a ten minute walk from Sutton Train station.
Bus
The closest Bust stop to the Library is Sutton Civic centre (Stop V) towards Rosehill or Sutton Common. Buses 80, 164, 151, 213, 280, 407, 413, 420, 470, S1, S3, S4 all serve this route.

Tuesday: 8am to 8.50pm

Wednesday: 8am to 8.50pm

Thursday: 8am to 8.50pm

Friday: 8am to 8.50pm

Saturday: 8am to 8.50pm

Sunday - 9am to 5.50pm

*Please note that Sutton Central Library has introduced a self-service access system between outside the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sundays. We’ve obtained an access code for our borrowers, which you'll find in your booking confirmation email.

We've joined forces with Sutton Council to grow the circular economy in Sutton.
